      How to make a WhatsApp sticker from a photo

      1. Add a photo, paste one, or take one with your camera. People are cut out automatically; for objects, tap what you want to keep.
      2. Fix the edges with the brush, choose the white outline, size and position, and add text if you like.
      3. Save for WhatsApp to get a 512×512 WebP under 100 KB, then add it with WhatsApp’s own sticker maker.

      How to add your stickers to WhatsApp and Telegram

      A website can’t put stickers into an app for you. These are the official ways each app offers. Menu names can differ slightly between app versions.

      WhatsApp (Android, iPhone, Web)

      1. Download your sticker and keep it on your phone or computer. If your gallery doesn’t show WebP files, download the “Transparent PNG” version.
      2. Open a chat and tap the sticker button next to the message box.
      3. Tap Create (the sticker maker that is built into WhatsApp) and choose your sticker image.
      4. Adjust it if you like and send it. WhatsApp saves it in your sticker tray so you can use it again.

      Whole packs can only be added to WhatsApp by a separate sticker app from Google Play or the App Store. The pack ZIP here follows WhatsApp’s format (3–30 stickers, 512×512 WebP up to 100 KB, 96×96 tray icon) for people who build one. We don’t recommend any unofficial apps.

      One sticker, in the app:

      1. Open the sticker panel from the message box in any chat.
      2. Tap + to open Telegram’s sticker maker and choose your sticker image.

      A whole pack, with the official @Stickers bot:

      1. Open @Stickers in Telegram and start a new pack (/newpack, or use its mini app). Give it a title.
      2. Send each sticker PNG or WebP from the ZIP as a file, then send an emoji for it.
      3. Publish the pack (/publish). Send the 100×100 icon from the ZIP when asked, choose a short link name, and share the link.

      About the Sticker Maker tool

      WhatsApp stickers must be exactly 512×512 pixels, in WebP format, with a transparent background and at most 100 KB. The tool lowers the WebP quality step by step until the file fits and checks the real size after saving, so it never goes over.

      WhatsApp recommends an 8 px white outline so stickers stand out on any chat background. The outline is drawn from the exact shape of your cut-out, and a safe margin keeps it from being cut off at the edges.

      Make several stickers and collect them in your pack: the tool checks the pack against WhatsApp’s rules (3 to 30 stickers, 1 to 3 emoji each, a 96×96 tray icon) and downloads it as a ZIP.
